The activity
Mix it up. You can read the book before, during, or after the activity.
Protect all surfaces.
Paint the clothespin completely using the green marker.
Cut out a strip of green paper about a half inch thick. Fold the strip back and forth like an accordion.
Cut out any excess length and glue the two ends onto the clothespin.
Glue two googly eyes at the front of the clothespin, where the “head” of the alligator would be.
Tie two pieces of green pipe cleaners on each end to create the legs of the alligator.
